- Turtuk Valley School was started in November 2020 With 25 students and within one year we have 100 + students enrolled at the school Because of the School Registration with UT Govt. of Ladakh.
- No fees has been collected by the students and the AFAC Trust has been raising donations through family and friends for this Noble Cause of Education.
- Employment for 11 Ladies from the village has been given.
- A Computer Lab and Library has been set up for the students.
- Digital classrooms equipped with televisions for audio visual learning's.
- A play way method of teaching has been set up for kindergarten with the kind support of friends and kind strangers who donated Materials for the school. The materials were raised through social media.
- 6 Volunteers from the city came and lived in the village and conducted community classes for the kids.
- Outdoor classes were conducted during the pandemic as there is no internet facility in the village for online lessons.
